Welcome to the Maine Educational Opportunity Center Website

Every year as part of our grant requirements, MEOC is required to report back to the US Department of Education progress towards meeting our Project Objectives.

Project Year 2005 - 2006 Annual Report

Objective: Description Outcome
1 Provide print & electronic media with information
about postsecondary educational opportunities
2 Provide information about postsecondary educational opportunities to 12,000 Maine residents who will likely be eligible for services
3 2,500 eligible Maine residents will have been identified qualified, enrolled, and received at least six of the MEOC project services.

4 95% of MEOC participants enrolled during this year will have undergone an educational assessment and designed an educational plan

5 1,000 MEOC participants will have enrolled in adult education or participated in at least two of the project’s other academic support services

The Maine Educational Opportunity Center is funded entirely by the US Department of Education. The grant award for 2012-2013 is $680,609.
